Hey, I'm Angi Cooper and I create art for people who like something a little bit different, playful,
imaginative, or thought provoking. 

My work appeals to folks who have a love of nature and animals, folks who appreciate a sense of humor and commentary, and those who love color! I've been told more than once, "I like the way you think!" 

​The Archives page is a good place to view work that my patrons have added to their collections which includes paintings, collages, and three-dimensional work.

As part of my naturalist background, I have been a volunteer educator at the Memphis Zoo where I spoke to the public about the animals on display. The zoo was also a good place for me to observe animal movement and capture images for my animal paintings.

Birding is also a passion of mine, and I'm always looking for new birds for my life list! Check out my series of Zines ​in my online store that feature some of the birds on my list. I illustrate the different species in both comic and naturalist styles.
As you can see, bringing my ideas to life gives me much joy. My ideas come from many places: things seen on a hike, colors in a magazine; patterns of shapes, lines, and shadows; the nature in my own backyard; character studies and creations; something that catches my eye anywhere I am, just to name a few!
